Overview
This product emerged from my personal struggle with tracking daily expenses manually, it always felt like a setback whenever I forgot to log something. After trying nearly every popular finance app out there without much luck, I caught up with my friends Fadhil and Ryan. Over a casual chat, we realized we were all dealing with the exact same headache.
That’s why we built cents&dimes. We wanted to take the chore out of budgeting, so the app automates the heavy lifting by securely linking to your bank account and using AI to gently filter invoices and receipts straight from your email. Even better, our AI integrates right into the apps you use every day, like WhatsApp and Telegram. You can simply snap a photo of a receipt or text a quick note, and cents&dimes will safely log it for you.
Responsibility
In this project I’m taking on the designer role, that’s not too far off since product design is already part of my daily grind. We see this project as a kind of lab, a space to explore, experiment, and share ideas. The insights we gain from cents&dimes flow back into our daily work, and vice versa. My hope is that this journey not only adds new knowledge but also makes the process more meaningful for all of us.
